So much fangirling here all about Gaki’s hand. Like just look at how it curves around the doorknob there’s such an elegance or like power behind it and it’s times like this we remember how powerful his character is. Like he is so romantic and kind and protective but he has such power but he only uses it when he needs to and he only uses it to intimidate like now when who he cares about are in danger. I love his character so much
That shows you -just how much control- he has over fire. Think about it. Fire is an extremely unwieldy element with the inexperienced. How many times he must have messed up to be able to control it, even when this angry o.o
I just love the parallel they made in the last frame. The way Set is holding the doorknob just emphasizes his long nails and slightly inhumane physical features/human strength while Gaki is hold the doorknob with a more relaxed grip bot with such exaggeration to his fire and the flames in his hand being so bright and Set being darker in color pallet. It is just a nice frame.
There will still be the same number of pages this month as any other month, but we spent the first half of the month with family visiting from out of town. We’re working quickly to roll out the usual number of pages in the next couple of weeks. You can see sneak previews for all the pages over on our Patreon as they become available! 😀
I get restless enough waiting for future pages without any sneak previews so I think I’ll wait for the whole shebang, thanks though. 🙂
The way you draw this big man reminds me of the J Romita Spider-man comics I read as a kid so I’m excited to see more of him. I probably got triggered by that body smashing through the window as well, that tended to happen a lot with Spider-man. xD

Set is so bizzarely attractive, especially since I’m not a big fan of tattoos. I just want to trace all of them with my fingers…

Why has the production rate slowed down so much? Not complaining just curious about what other projects you might have going on.
