Goddamn squiggly boxes.
But Mary said “We have to get to the lab before it’s too late”. This guy wasn’t supposed to help, then, right? So he’s going to die if Mary don’t get there on time (I know she will. She will, right? Of course she will). GET WELL SOON, BABYYYYYY ):
Is all of his body hair blue?
Now we all want to know if his pubic hair is blue also. 😉
Also, unless Arthur dyes his armpits, that blue hair seems to be a side effect of . . . whatever the fuck is up with all of this.
Squiggly blocks are horrible people.
I hate those squiggly blocks. :\ at least, I hate the ones that zigzag from right to left; the left to right ones? They’re FINE. BUT THERE ARE NEVER ANY PLACES FOR THE OTHER ONE. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
PS- if blue’s not his natural hair color…they DO make dyes for bush hair. XD
http://imgur.com/uODp4Hg ((SFW- it’s just dye boxes))
As we all marvel at the story twist, then wonder about Arthur’s body hair color. XD
Ohhhhh damn. I would have freaked out WAAAAY MORE to have a dude I hate injecting me right when I woke up. Holy shit.
I wondered WHEN he died his hair
in the asylum, he hasn’t… but when he escapes, he’s already blue…
When Mary comes in, he’s still blond. But on the same evening, after having faked his own death, he’s blue
do they have to dye someone’s hair to cure him/her from hypothermia ?
Is it a reaction to his near-drowned-experience ?
What could have happened to blue him like this ?
For a comic that pays so much attention to plot details, this one is too big to be a simple mistake… so I’m wondering
From the way it changes from blonde to blue depending on where he is chronologically, I would say it has something to do with whatever happened during his escape from the mental hospital.
With all of the other twists, loops, turns, etc. I doubt that this would be accidental.
Also- you’d have to make a mental note to not default to black or brown with odd bits of body hair, like armpits and such- it’d be much easier to slip and accidentally make it a natural color than slip and make it blue, I think.
I see your point. And I believe you’re right. It’s too big to be a mistake.
I don’t think it’s possible to slip accidentally the hair color of the main character on something like one hundred pages… though I’d see no problem to turning his armit blue by the force of habit.
Also I wasn’t implying that they didn’t thought about blue-ing Arthur’s hair, more that they might have made a mistake regarding the timeline and maybe begun to draw his hair blue for the first panel “because the character was designed that way”… but again, this doesn’t look like an error they would make.
Anyway, I hope to learn more about how in the freezing hell he got blue hair as a natural color… or how he found the time to dye it (because it looked so darn fabulous) while escaping dozens of cops…
Im assuming its the “you need to die… sort of” when the escape happened
I can understand blue armpits and blue eyebrows, but blue eyelashes :o? Anyway, poor Arthur :c. After reading this page I re-read almost all the comic again, and I noticed how you were changing the way of colouring the pages. Reading one page per week sometimes make you forget the details of a year (or more) ago. Congrats for this masterpiece 😀
The plot is twisting like a snake (hey there, Haku). I’ll have to read the chapter all over again… … 😀
I think Mary meant they had to stop the redheaded woman.
Bedside manner notwithstanding, Raven’s a lot less off-putting when he’s not grinning like he just killed Batman.
Okay look, I’ll say it. I don’t *hate* Raven. I kinda like him, actually.
And yes, blue body hair. Intriguing. Because it would indeed seem like a pathophysiological (or shall I coin the term xenopathophysiological?) response. And also because, y’know, the kinky stuff.
I came across ChaosLife in Tumblr and it had links to the originals, I simply read all of your works I could find in the past days. I’m usually a silent reader, but I just can’t contain myself, I have to tell how amazing your work is, and the intricacy and detailment of FindChaos left me beyond excited! Can’t list all the things I found amazing in your comics, even when I was trying to pick my favorite characters in FindChaos I was almost listing them all lol.
K. I definetly respect and admire your capacity to build such an intricate long storyline where you pour your rich knowledge (and even research more), I really think it’s hard get attached to a work, greater its storyline may be, if there’s no characters well built and to whom one can relate (for me it’s the most important actually) and find both like this is bliss! And A. your art is beautiful and only gets better through the pages, love how vivacious it is.
What I find more beautiful in all this is the diversity of cultures, religions, ethnicities, personalities, it’s so rich! It’s really clear when the authors care for the work they’re doing and the impact it can have with readers ^^. I particularly find Fragile delicious in that sense (well and others too).
There’s something I’m really curious, in everything I read I imagine the voices in the scenes (am I weird or everybody does it?), have you ever imagined their voices clearly or even relate to an actor or singer? would you mind to share if you do?
After listen to your podcast I know how you sound in ChaosLife now lol by the way A. even the way you chat is funny XD (I mean it as a good thing) and K.’s voice is so suave ^^.
As a random note, have you ever seen the Hellsing anime? since the first time I saw C.E. I can’t stop remembering the lady leader of the Hellsing family, but C.E. it’s very sweet next her XD.
I wrote a comment or a essay? and yet certainly there are many more relevant things to discuss about the story I couldn’t think of now, sorry orz… well, I’m already a fan and will be a faithful reader from now on ^^, waiting for the great things coming from you. Love from Brazil ^^.
ps: sorry about my bad english orz
I think it was established earlier that his hair color is the result of his medication
I wish my anti depressants turned my hair blue :\
Ugh. Those squiggly blocks. Who the fuck invited squiggly blocks? No one. No one invited you, fucking squiggly block. fuck off back to Squiggly Blockland, squiggly block. fuck you, squiggly block.
I’ll just assume that his “natural” hair/armpit/eyebrow/ potato colour is a side effect of some traumatic event (Most probably the escape from the asylum). An uncle of mine’s hair went white, and he is still pretty shaken 20 years after.
Love the story and style. There’s a surprising amount of realism for an essentially Fantastic comic.
Definetly want more of Gaki.
Respectfully and admiringly from Argentina,
Have I mentioned lately that I do not like Raven, or trust him?
This has nothing to do with the specific comic, but it’s interesting.
Eerily familiar blue-haired protagonist, along with the opening statement “Every dead body that isn’t exterminated gets up and kills. The people it kills then get up and kill”. This seems familiar
The comic is just a slow build-up to Gorillaz. Gaki plays guitar. TWIST?!
I very much so enjoy this series, and have “http://www.findchaos.com/chapters” as my bookmark to follow the story. I am not so diligent in my viewing, and wind up on the site every few weeks. It’s nice to catch up a few pages at a time!
I have noticed that you don’t often update that page, and also the “fast forward to last page” button seems to not update often either.
I know you two are busy with various other awesome projects, but just in case this was some technical error, I figured maybe you’d like to know about it.
Hey there! Sorry that’s been happening. We’ve been having a few issues with WordPress since ComicPress updated their codes, and luckily most of them have been fixed up so far. I’ll try to find out what’s wrong with the Chapters, as it should update automatically (as well as the page buttons). Until we get it sorted out, you might also try clearing out your cache before you reload the site. Also, if you follow us on Tumblr, we post the entire comic pages there still, so you can search the tag ‘FindChaos’ and have it all pulled up. It doesn’t earn us any ad revenue, but we’d rather people got a chance to read it while we sorted out whatever Devil Magic WordPress works on! <3 Thanks for the input!
