I don’t quite trust Raven either…but he’s certainly clever with his words, and that simultaneously irks me and makes me like him.
Hmm, he’s growing on me.
Yay, he’s finally better <3
“I don’t trust you, so I’m going on a car ride with you in the middle of the night while I’m in a severely weakened state.”
“Tilting at windmills”! I love that phrase. Also experiencing a weird dissonance with Raven where I’m starting to like him but I’m not sure if I should. I think this is a good thing.
I’ve said it on last week’s post: Raven is creepy, but I think he’ll turn out okay. Relatively, at least. Regardless, I like the character.
I love how irritated he looks while Raven is gazing at him so intently, even draping his tie over his shoulder. So. Much. Irritation.
I’d trust Raven. I’d completely trust the guy who has C.E.’s trust. I mean, s/he seems to know what s/he’s doing.
Plus, he hasn’t done anything remotely evil exept for the murder of his parents… which I can kinda excuse to the fact that he had just been turned into some kind of blood-thirsty creature at the time.
So I’d definitely trust Raven.
And he’s got a cool name.
Legit just looked up cyanosis on Google images to see what it was, and… dude, I don’t think it’s a good look on ANYONE.
Your comment made me curious. Curiosity made me google it.
Oh dear gods, what have I DONE?
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
Google – traumatising ebberywun since invention. Raven reminds me of a friend of mine… should I be worried… nahhhh :p
I’m so sorry, you poor sweet summer child.
The mystery continues!
Random Trivia: Don Quixote is pronounced dÓn KEY-hÓ-tÉ.
Raven is probably gonna be Lawful Evil or Chaotic Neutral/Good.
I’m assuming CE’s got her/his reasons for starting a relationship with a “mortal”.
I don’t think Raven is mortal, being a vampire and all.
Well, considering what C.E. is (Eldritch Abomination, no doubt) it/he/she probably sees Raven as a lesser being.
You know, kinda like how a god sees a demigod.
Hence the quotation marks.
It’s amusing to see the discussion about whether Raven is a good guy, or a bad guy, or trustworthy. My experience of FindChaos leads me to the conclusion that no one is completely good or completely evil. No one can be fully trusted. The characters are all complex. That’s what makes them so “real” and engaging.
I found your comic last week and read everything that night! It’s amaizing, the plot and the art too, keep going! You have a loyal fan in Spain now ^^
I’m pretty sure the whole “Sociopath” thing basically rings true with Raven for the most part. I mean, he seems to care about CE at least, but that sounds basically like its as far as his concern for Arthur went, seeing as he was casually playing tetris while he waited for the antidote to work (Gotta wonder how and why he got an antidote so quickly though, thats the odd thing to me.). I’m not sure he’s that concerned about the potential murder victim either. I’d maybe place him in the “Douche who you probably shouldn’t trust, but might be able to in extremely specific cases anyways.” quadrant for now.
Though, the comic is about people who you probably shouldn’t trust in general, perhaps the most complex of the complex, if only because they’ve all got special abilities, or mental “conditions”. Thats part of what makes it so fun to read though. Interesting, “realistic” seeming characters who are just out of the norm enough to live crazy exciting lives, in a world that is just off “normal” to begin with.
So how long do you think Raven was perched over Arther like that for?
>.< And of course I catch all the way up in one day and now have to wait for new updates!
Oh what a world! *sob*
