Means literally ‘do me a favour’. The lemon part is Cockney rhyming slang, and is short for ‘lemon flavour’, so in other words it’s really “do me a lemon flavour”

Not stupid at all! That’s a chunk of backstory that has yet to be explored (emphasis on “yet”), but it will suffice to say for now that he started life human, is no longer, and isn’t a vampire.
I had a feeling that that was the case, since you mentioned that he’s blue for unnatural reasons and he seems to have some supernatural aptitude for disposing of supernatural creatures. At least I hoped there was a good reason for sending him into dangerous situations.
Curious, how old is Arthur and Mary supposed to be? I kind of figured they were in their mid to late teens in the flashbacks and now are in their early twenties in the current time. Unless there’s a spoiler there or something.

I really appreciate your dedication to your characters’ dialects. I love imagining all of their different voices in my head as I read.
